Meridian Teriyaki Soya Sauce, listed as approved and Parev on page 83 of The Really Jewish Food Guide 2008 now contains white wine and is Not Kosher. Old stock which does not list white wine in the ingredients declaration is still approved kosher Parev.
Nestle Smarties and Mini Smarties are changing to a new formulation and as of January 2009 will no longer contain Carminic Acid (E120) and are approved kosher Dairy. Please make sure to check the ingredients declaration before purchase as old stock still containing carminic acid is Not Kosher.
Sunday 23rd November
Whole Earth Apricot and Raspberry Fruit Spreads, listed on page 91 of The Really Jewish Food Guide 2008 as approved and Parev, are now Not Kosher.
All beer is permitted. Budweiser Beer (produced in the UK) is KLBD certified kosher parev although bears no logo on the packaging. Cobra Beer is also kosher certified and bears the KLBD logo on the bottles.

Jordans Frusli Blueberries & Cranberries and Frusli Wild Berries & Juicy Raisins (previously called Frusli Blueberry Burst and Frusli Wild Berries) listed on page 38 of The Really Jewish Food Guide 2008, have recently changed formulation and are in new packaging. They now contain grape juice concentrate and are therefore Not Kosher.

Menier Cooking Chocolate, listed as Parev on p.42 in The Really Jewish Food Guide 2008 now contains butterfat and is therefore Dairy.
Warninks Advocaat listed as Not Kosher on p.117 is now approved and Parev.
Wednesday 9th July
ASDA Vegetarian Frankfurters, listed on p.114 of The Really Jewish Food Guide 2008 as approved and Parev, are no longer manufactured by Tivall in Israel and are therefore not approved.
As supermarkets are liable to change suppliers, it is advisable to ensure before purchase that all ASDA, Sainsbury's and Tesco frozen vegetarian products listed on p.114-115 state that they are made in Israel on the packaging.

Yop Strawberry & Raspberry Yoghurt Drinks, listed as approved Dairy on page 58 of The Summer 2008 Kosher Nosh Guide now contain cochineal are therefore Not Kosher.
